Rare Lynx in Alberta

Post by The Invisible Man on Thu Apr 12, 2012 4:15 pm

THIS IS A COOLS STORY!

I wonder if the cat lives around here too?

I have seen many wild animals in my neck of the woods. Last year, a quail and her babies walked in front of my house. I frequently see wild pheasants, deer, wild rabbits, and bald eagles around here. The odd black bear has poked around too. A couple of times a large golden eagle has perched in one of the trees in the back-40. I have also seen a wolf and many many turkey vultures (but not on my property). The one that I think is the most unusual is the large turtle that lives in Turtle Lake. The turtles seem out of place in this area.

What kinds of wild animals do you see in your area?
