Somass Mill

I wonder if THIS FIRE will spell the end of Somass Mill? I have been hearing rumours in the community that it won't be long until Somass Mill is done. The mill has been down to one shift for some time. Traditionally, Somass Mill has relied heavily on the Amercian cedar lumber market. I am not so sure that that market is improving?

Market can't be that bad. Coulsons are in the process of building a new mill ( outside city limits) that will specifically be for Cedar products. Non union too!!
